A specialty pharmacy can be defined as a service designed to manage the handling of specialty medications, including dispensing, distribution, reimbursement, case management, and other services specific to each patient's needs.

At IV Care Options, our experienced team of registered nurses, pharmacists, and technicians work together with your physician to provide a variety of infusion services to our patients. We arrange for delivery of your medication, the infusion pump, and any needed supplies. We can also teach you and your caregivers how to infuse the prescribed medication based on the method selected to achieve maximum independence, if appropriate.

Home infusion has been proven to be a safe and effective alternative to a hospital stay for many disease states and therapies.  We have found that for many of our patients, receiving treatment at home is preferred to inpatient care.
