Our infusion nurses have special education, training, and expertise for the administration of drugs and biologics via infusion. Services these nurses provide include initial evaluation and assessment, education and training for the patient or caregiver, catheter insertion, and ongoing patient assessment.
For our homecare patients who qualify, IV nurses provide inspection and consultation of an aseptic home environment and education about IV treatments for your specific condition or disease. Using the education and training provided, many caregivers or patients are successfully able to administer their infusion therapies without the infusion nurse normally being present in the home.
